Sahibzada Masud Ahmed is the maternal grandson of great Sufi poet Sartaj-e-Aulia, Sultan-ul-Arfeen Hazrat Moulvi Ghulam Rasool Alampuri. He loved intensively with the personality and work of Hazrat Moulvi Sahib since childhood. By the grace of God it is still stable as before. Sahibzada Masud Ahmed was born in 19 March 1957 in Chak No. 142 G.B Tehsil Samundri, District Faisalabad, Pakistan in the house of a venerable agriculturist. His father, late Chaudhary Ghulam Qadir was an educated and a learned person. He has 5 brothers and 4 sisters. His family is highly educated. His one brother and sister are elder and others are younger. In 1975 his family left the village and got permanent residence in Faisalabad, Pakistan. He studied deeply about the life history of Hazrat Moulvi Sahib, his books and the books available on his poetry. The life history of Hazrat Moulvi Sahib written by different writers in their books was not found correct. A lot of printing mistakes was found in his published books. Therefore feeling it necessary to provide correct and authentic information regarding life history of Hazrat Moulvi Sahib and his work to the people.

Sahibzada Masud Ahmed laid foundation of “Moulvi Ghulam Rasool Alampuri Trust” on Friday 30 November 1990. After making endless efforts and doing research work for a long time, collecting authentic information, two books of Sahibzada Masud Ahmed were published on life history and work of Hazrat Moulvi Sahib. First book with the title of “Doonghey Raaz” (A study regarding Moulvi Ghulam Rasool Alampuri) was published by “Moulvi Ghulam Rasool Alampuri Trust (Regd.)” in 1999. The topics/essays regarding Hazrat Moulvi Sahib written by great personalities of India and Pakistan are available in this book. The book is included in the course of M.A level in Pakistan. The book has gained popularity in the literary circles of India and Pakistan. His second book with the title of “Moulvi Ghulam Rasool Alampuri: Personality and Work” has recently been published by the “Pakistan Academy of Letters” in 2011. While the “Pakistan Academy of Letters” publishing a series of books regarding the important literary personalities of Pakistan with the name of “Pakistani Adab Ke Maimar”. The book named “Moulvi Ghulam Rasool Alampuri: Personality & Works” of this series became very popular and the same was translated into Gurmukhi script by the “Language & Literature Department” Patiala, India and published it. The book releasing ceremony was held on 15 March 2014 in “Presidency Hotel” Hoshiarpur, India. Sahibzada Masud Ahmed participated in it as a Chief Guest.

Hazrat Moulvi Ghulam Rasool Alampuri’s 7 rare books “Huliya Sharif (P.B.U.H), Chithian, Seeh Harfi Sassi Punnu, Chopat Nama and Pand Nama” were compiled in the shape of 3 books by Sahibzada Masud Ahmed and published them from his organization on May 2013. Hazrat Moulvi Sahib’s these writings have continuously been published up to 1952 but the same have not been published about 50 years. Therefore these are rare. By the grace of God these books have been kept safe by publishing. It will a precious asset for the coming generations. Sahibzada Masud Ahmed has re arranged these books after making their deficiencies i.e less verses were completed. Besides this, compiling mistakes were removed and meanings of difficult words have also been mentioned. In these books, the book named “Chithian” of Hazrat Moulvi Sahib which is in verses is very popular among the people. He wrote these “Chithian” to his pupil Syed Roshan Ali, Heeray Shah who often used to come to see him and Sahibzada Ghulam Yasin. These “Chithian” used to be published at the end of “Ahsan-ul-Qasas for a long time. Later on, late Muhammad Alam Kapoorthalvi collected 7 writings of Hazrat Moulvi Sahib (1) Chithi To Syed Roshan Ali (2) Chithi To Heeray Shah (3) Chithi To Ghulam Yasin (4) Huliya Sharif Hazoor (P.B.U.H) (5) Seeh Harfi Sassi Punnu (6) Chopat Nama (7) Pandh Nama and published them in the shape of a book. He named the book “Sat Phul”. But Sahibzada Masud Ahmed decided to publishwritings of Hazrat Moulvi Sahib with the orginal names. Now he has published “Chithian” separately. He worked hard and solved some difficult verses and also mentioned the meanings words used in the verses to clarify the readers. Due to this improvement the book “Chithian” has gained more popularity. Sahibzada Masud Ahmed has published the 3 writings “Seeh Harfi Sassi Punnu, Chopat Nama, Pandh Nama” of Hazrat Moulvi Sahib in the shape of a book with the name of “Dard Kusalay”. He also published “Huliya Sharif Hazoor (P.B.U.H)” written by Hazrat Moulvi Sahib. On August 2015 one of the remarkable writing of Hazrat Moulvi Sahib “Maarb-ul-Khashien” compiled by Sahibzada Masud Ahmed and the same was published first time and has made it available for the people. After that with the grace of God Sahibzada Masud Ahmed compiled a booklet consisting of selected verses from “Ahsan-ul-Qasas” and “Chithian” and it has published in August 2015. Similarly the remaining available books have been got composed and the same are under the process of publication.

With the special efforts of Sahibzada Masud Ahmed, a website consisting of 3,000 pages has been prepared on the life history and great work of great sufi poet, Sartaj-e-Auliya, Sultan-ul-Arfeen Hazrat Moulvi Ghulam Rasool Alampuri in 2004. The website contains details regarding complete information about Moulvi Sahib as well as his books too. Essays and poetry about Moulvi Sahib have been uploaded on the website. The website also includes pictures of his shrine and other memorable events. Videos of all the seminars, meetings and conferences which have held in Indo-Pak have been uploaded on the website. The poetry (kalam) of Hazrat Moulvi Sahib was sung by about 35 popular and prominent singers of Pakistan and it is also available on the website. The establishment of the organization, Aims & Objectives, Rules & Regulations, pictures and introductions of the members of Governing Body and Committee members can be seen on the website at any moment.

The Urs and different other literary functions are being celebrated in the memory of Hazrat Maulvi Ghulam Rasool Alampuri each year in Pakistan. In this connection Maulvi Ghulam Rasool Alampuri Trust is playing an important as well as an active role. Since 7 March 2008 organization in the memory of Hazrat Maulvi Ghulam Rasool Alampuri has started giving awards and admirable certificates to the selected great personalities of the world in recognition of their great services in the field of literary work.

With the special efforts of Sahibzada Masud Ahmed in September 2014 a Trust has been established with the name of “Hazrat Moulvi Ghulam Rasool Alampuri Trust (Regd.)” in Hoshiarpur, India. He himself is the Founder & Chairman of the Trust. He often visits India to attend the shrine of Hazrat Moulvi Ghulam Rasool Alampuri in village Alampur, distt. Hoshiarpur, India. He participates in seminars and literary events there. He also delivers lectures in universities of India. It promotes brotherhood between the two countries. Some materialistic people belonging to Sikh religion residing of Baigowal, India have made illegal encroachment around the shrine of great sufi poet of Punjabi language Hazrat Moulvi Ghulam Rasool Alampuri. Due to this the only way which leads to the shrine has been blocked/closed. Its historical and spiritual status is being harmed. Sahibzada Masud Ahmed has its picturial as well as documented proof. Whereas the Govt. of Pakistan is spending millions of rupees on the Gurdwaras (temples) and other religious of Sikh religion which are situated in different places of Pakistan

Sahibzada Masud Ahmed has started the construction work of Hazrat Moulvi Sahib with the co-operation of local people recently. It is sorry to say that the Sikh community is creating troubles/hurdles in the construction work. It is harming a great noble cause. Sahibzada Masud Ahmed has submitted applications time to time to the Punjab Govt of Sikhs that some people of Sikh religion may be stopped to make illegal encroachment on the land of Muslim Wakf Board. The same application has also been submitted to Gurdwaras of Nankana Sahib in Pakistan and Amritsar in India. But they always support and favour their Sikh community. He also submitted application from time to time in this regard to the President, Prime Minister, Federal Minister of External Affairs, Federal Minister of Religious Affairs and Chief Minister of Punjab, Pakistan but all in vain.
